Back by popular demand, Comedy Night @ Tryon Resort returns December 22!  Last month’s show was SOLD OUT, so make sure you buy tickets early as they are limited.  Doors open at 5pm at Campagna Italian Cuisine.  Full Bar and full menu will be available throughout the evening.  We encourage guests looking to have dinner with us to visit our on-site restaurants and to arrive by 6:30pm.  On-site restaurants currently available:  Campagna, Legends Grille, Blue Ginger Sushi or Roger’s Diner.

RYAN VAN GENDEREN
Ryan Van Genderen has been writing and performing comedy for 7
years. Although he has lived in Charlotte, North Carolina for most of
his life he hails from Patterson, New Jersey. His comedic style can be
playfully dark and sardonic as he examines the human condition and
societal norms. He has opened for Jaime Kennedy, Charlie Murphy,
Bill Burr, and Aries Spears.

PHILLY PLOWDEN
Philly Plowden is one of the most sound actors/comedians working today. His observations and revelations about the human condition, mixed with stories from his own life, take an audience on a 200mph trip that could stop at any point along the journey.

Philly puts it all on the line, because he always works in the moment. His ability to relate to people from different walks of life has made him a favorite in the cruise ship industry, comedy clubs, and corporate events.

He’s opened for stars like the late Robert Palmer, Richard Jeni, and Julio Iglesias on the West coast leg of his 2003 world tour.
Stories about his mother, kids and marriage have made him a favorite wherever he plays. With TV appearances in commercials, and as a standup or a dramatic and comedic actor, Philadelphia is the “Full Package of Entertainment”
